Semi-automatic direct-drive turntable + high-end Technics EPC-275C-II L cartridge
with its Technics EPS-205EX stylus in excellent condition (see photos).
It uses the world's first D.D. motor IC (AN630), which integrates the motor drive, control,
and various functions into a single chip.
A double-insulated suspension protects the turntable from vibration and feedback.
This is a semi-automatic turntable, meaning it is equipped with an automatic tonearm return mechanism.
With its aluminum alloy and steel chassis, the Technics SL-1700 weighs 8.8 kg.

Its low wow and flutter rate of 0.025% is up to 10 times lower than many current turntables.
Its excellent signal-to-noise ratio of 73 dB (the highest possible value).
